So how did this small café, pumping out very big flavours, come to be?
Picture
Tarik (left) and Murray.
Murray and Tarik had been working in cafes together for years when they decided it was time to put all their energy into their own place. When they smashed their names together – Tarik and Muzza – it became Taza which means “cup” in Spanish-speaking South American countries. So, in October 2018, La Taza de Café (the cup of coffee) was born.
It just so happens that both of them love a bit of South American style food – think burritos, empanadas, tacos. Who doesn’t?  And so, besides making the best coffee in Pyrmont (using the fine beans from Campos), La Taza has a small menu bursting with flavour. Tarik and Muzza love what they do and can’t wait for you to visit.
